MAXINE CORONADO PENA
SEPTEMBER 14,1942-DECEMBER 8, 1973
 
Mrs. Maria Rita (Maxine) Pena was buried in Fort Sumner Cemetary Saturday afternoon.  The funeral mass was in St. Anthony's Catholic church Saturday Morning.  Mrs. Pena died in Mannehim Germany December 8, 1973.
 
She was born September 14, 1942, grew up and graduated from Fort Sumner High School in 1962.  She was married to Alfredo Pena on November 12, 1963.  He is a career serviceman and when it was impossible for her to accompany him to an assignment, she resided in Fort Sumner.  They had lived in Mannheim since 1972.
 
She is survived, besides her husband, by two sons, Alfred Troy and Anthony Todd and daughter, Barbara Kim;  her parents Mr. and Mrs. Tony Coronado, three sisters, all of Fort Sumner, Mrs. Nora Aragon, Mrs. Gloria Sena, and Tina Coronado and five brothers, Jerry, Tony, Johnny, Gilbert and Leroy, all of Fort Sumner.
 
Pallbearers for the service were her brothers and Catarino Casaus. 
 
Julian Mortuary was in charge of local arrangements.
